Further dining options in Auckland include restaurants in and around Auckland's Albert Street, Elliot Street, Mount Eden Village, Auckland's Newmarket district, Princes Wharf, Queen Street, Shortland Street and Vulcan Lane in central Auckland, which is lined with street cafés.
One of the most popular restaurants in Auckland is of course the famous Orbit restaurant at the top of Auckland's imposing Sky Tower. The Orbit restaurant features excellent dining facilities and is actually a revolving restaurant, slowing rotating and offering magnificent panoramic views of Auckland city. There are also many other splendid restaurants, cafés and dining venues tucked away in Auckland's backstreets and in the suburbs of Auckland. Most restaurants in Auckland happily accept reservations for both lunch and dinner, so it is often advisable to call in advance to ensure a dining place at the restaurant.
